Typically viewable on clear summer nights from my little corner of NC coastline. Best enjoyed with a beach bonfire and blanket laid out on the sand.
This image is my first attempt of capturing the andromeda galaxy. Our closest neighbor galaxy sits 2.5 million light years away from us. This imaged was captured with 2 hours of exposure time.
Moonrise over Wrightsville beach during the February full moon (commonly termed the snow moon). Funny enough we saw a rare 5-6” beautiful snowfall, as you can see in the dunes.
